Scholarships

The Scholarship Program offers financial assistance of up to ₹46,000 per year for the first two year of the academic course. This support covers tuition fees, living expenses, travel, and related costs. It is available to girl students who have secured admission in any Government or Private college recognized by a central or state board in India to pursue an undergraduate degree in Medicine (MBBS/BDS), Engineering, Nursing, or Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

Scholarship Program provides financial assistance up to Rs. 65000/- per annum for the duration of the academic course (Fees + living costs + travel etc.) to girl students who have secured admission in any Govt. or Pvt. college recognized by a central or state board college in India for completion of their undergraduate degree in the field of Medicine (MBBS/BDS), Engineering, Nursing and Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

To celebrate 25 years of graduation in 2021, the batch of 92-96 came together to create a fund and institute a merit-based scholarship for the undergraduate students of BIT-Mesra. This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing the undergraduate program at the BIT, Mesra campus and is going through a financial crunch.

Following are the qualification criteria for application:

1. The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course at BIT, Mesra Campus.
2. The applicant must have completed at least 1 semester and have the results available.
3. Applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 to qualify.

The scholarship is awarded each year to 1 boy and 2 girls of Pratishthan Learning Center who display distinction in academic performance, leadership skills, attendance and have overcome challenging situations at home. The scholarship is utilised towards the educational expense of the recipient student studying in the Pratishthan Learning Center.

The scholarship is being instituted in 2024 in memory of Anita Sahay by her family. It is going to support 1 girl and 1 boy pursuing a course under the Jeevika Skill Development Program

The scholarship is awarded each year to 35 students of Vidyananda School for overall excellence.

The scholarship is awarded each year to 2 students from Vidyananda School and 2 students from Pratishthan Learning Center for displaying 3 key qualities- Empathy, Social Responsibility and Innovation.

The scholarship was started in the year 2022 by Mrs. Madhu Mehrotra in memory of her husband, Dr. Arvind Mehrotra. It is awarded each year to 1 deserving student from less privileged background for pursuing MBBS.

The RK Gupta Memorial Scholarship has been started by the family of Mr Rajendra Kumar Gupta, to honor his commitment to education.
