VIDYA SAHYOG

 

The Vidya Sahyog project of Lotus Petal Foundation aims at improving the pre-existing infrastructure and learning facilities of Government Schools of India.

The project provides overall support and expansion to Government schools. The program has had great success at various Government Schools including the Government Middle School of Lohatki, Haryana, India. Teachers from Lotus Petal go to the school to support and assist the faculty in academic learning, art, theatre and sports. Infrastructures developed include a library and a STEM learning lab.

The Government Middle School in Silokhera, Haryana also received support under the Vidya Sahyog program. The school was revamped and repaired. This included the construction of new washrooms and kitchen, tiling of classrooms, roof waterproofing, installation of watercoolers and painting of the school walls.
